NCRPT Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and ROKiT Group ("ROKiT", "we", "us") for your use of NCRPT. By creating an account or using NCRPT, you agree to them and to the NCRPT Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use NCRPT.

You must be at least 13, or the minimum age for digital consent in your country if that is higher. You must give a phone number that is yours, and you are responsible for activity on your account.

2. The service

NCRPT lets you send end-to-end encrypted messages, photos, videos, files and voice messages, and make encrypted voice and video calls. It is free to use.

Encryption and your PIN. Your messages can only be read on your devices. If you set a PIN, it protects a backup of your message keys so you can read your history on a new device. We cannot recover your PIN or your messages for you: if you lose your devices and your PIN, your message history cannot be restored.

ROKiT Ai. NCRPT includes a chat with ROKiT Ai, an automated assistant. Its answers are generated automatically and can be wrong; do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. That chat is not end-to-end encrypted, as the Privacy Policy explains.

No emergency calls. NCRPT calls only reach other NCRPT users. It cannot be used to call emergency services; in an emergency, use your phone's normal dialler.

Availability. We work to keep NCRPT running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or stop features.

3. Acceptable use

There is no tolerance on NCRPT for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not use NCRPT to:

• send content that is illegal, sexually exploits children, threatens violence, promotes terrorism, or harasses, bullies or intimidates anyone;
• send spam, scams, malware or unsolicited bulk messages;
• impersonate anyone or use a phone number that is not yours;
• share someone's private information or intimate images without their consent;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• interfere with, overload or try to break into NCRPT, its servers or other users' accounts;
• reverse engineer the app, or use automated means to create accounts or send messages.

Reporting and blocking. You can block anyone from their chat or the member list, and manage blocked people in Settings. You can report any message from its menu in the app, or email us at support@rokit.com. We review reports within 24 hours and act on them, which can include removing content we can access and suspending or removing the account responsible. Because messages are end-to-end encrypted, we can only see content that you choose to include in a report.

Enforcement. We may suspend or close any account that breaks these terms, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.

4. Your content and your account

Your content. You own what you send. You give us permission to store and deliver it, in encrypted form, only so NCRPT can work. You are responsible for what you send.

Our app. NCRPT, its software and its branding belong to ROKiT Group. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store Terms of Service allow, and on other devices where you got the app from an official store.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account. Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone; the Privacy Policy explains what is removed.

Suspension. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if your account is used for fraud or abuse, or if the law requires it.

5. Liability

NCRPT is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss caused by other users or by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

6. If you got NCRPT from Apple's App Store

• These terms are between you and ROKiT Group, not Apple. ROKiT Group, not Apple, is responsible for NCRPT and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for NCRPT.
• If NCRPT fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for NCRPT.
• ROKiT Group, not Apple, is responsible for handling any claims about NCRPT, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
• ROKiT Group, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending and settling any claim that NCRPT infringes someone's intellectual property.
• You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must also follow the terms of any third-party service you use, such as your mobile network.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will tell you in the app before they take effect; continuing to use NCRPT afterwards means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
